The purpose of this blog is to help inspire you to create an event that is unique, unpredictable, beautiful, amazing, one of a kind, and most importantly, affordable! Anyone who knows me, knows I hate to overspend on anything! Fabulous events do not have to cost you a fortune, just like low budget events do not have to look low-class. Allocating your budget is going to be the toughest part of planning your event, but it has to be done! It's ok to splurge on your "must haves", but be prepared to get innovative with the other items on your list. Here at MR, I plan on giving you TMI with an extra I! Who doesn't want tons of pictures from their special event? Here's how to do it without breaking the bank and getting the most for your money. I came across these picture apps that you and all of your guests download for your event. These apps are more than your typical photo sharing apps. Throughout the event, all of the pictures that were taken by your guests with these apps will sync to one album, making the ultimate photo album to remember your special night. I can think of sooo many times I wish I would have known about this type of app; my wedding, New Year's Eve party, and my 30th surprise birthday party are just to name a few! If you are on a tight budget get rid of the disposable cameras that you will not only have to pay to have developed, but more than likely they will be overlooked by your guests anyway, serving no purpose. I guarantee you will get more participation from your guests with these apps, thanks to a generation of obsessed camera phone and social media users. Make table cards with the app you chose that includes a cute explanation and directions on how to download. Below is an example app that comes with free table cards, but there are several more event album apps in the app store on your smart phone to check out and compare prices and packages.
