Inspiration of the Week: Caroline Chandelier

I was inspired this week by the "Caroline" Chandelier.

Inspiration of the Week: "Louise" Weathered Shutters

We were inspired this week by the "Louise" Weathered Shutters. 
Authentic, naturally aged shutters from the 1940's they look really amazing when used as backdrops and make a rustic statement when used as table runners.

Inexpensive Wedding Favors

Love the idea of giving your guests seeds as wedding favors. Any seeds will work, but get personal with them. If your favorite drink is a mint julep & your partner's known for loving BLTs, then you could use mint and/or tomato seeds...be creative! It's a gift that will keep on giving & will be a great reminder of how much fun they had at your wedding! Seeds are super cheap, add a little package makeover by using some cute envelopes or unique paper from your local craft store, create a personalized message & you have just made a very affordable & unique favor your guests will never forget! This favor would pair perfectly with any vintage or rustic inspired event! Happy Planning!

Who doesn't want tons of pictures from their special event? Here's how to do it without breaking the bank and getting the most for your money. I came across these picture apps that you and all of your guests download for your event. These apps are more than your typical photo sharing apps. Throughout the event, all of the pictures that were taken by your guests with these apps will sync to one album, making the ultimate photo album to remember your special night. I can think of sooo many times I wish I would have known about this type of app; my wedding, New Year's Eve party, and my 30th surprise birthday party are just to name a few! If you are on a tight budget get rid of the disposable cameras that you will not only have to pay to have developed, but more than likely they will be overlooked by your guests anyway, serving no purpose. I guarantee you will get more participation from your guests with these apps, thanks to a generation of obsessed camera phone and social media users. Make table cards with the app you chose that includes a cute explanation and directions on how to download. Below is an example app that comes with free table cards, but there are several more event album apps in the app store on your smart phone to check out and compare prices and packages.
